Boerderij 't Westendorp 

The most all-round farm of Holland                                        

Boerderij 't Westendorp is a farm in Holland with about 140 dairy cows, including some rare breeds and 2200 fattening pigs. The farm is located in the "Achterhoek" which is in Gelderland, near the German border.

Beside the dairy cows and fattening pigs, there are a lot more animals living on the farm, like guinea pigs, where I show and breed with, rabbits, also for showing and breeding, hamsters, chicken, sheep, goats, dogs and a lot more.

Near the farm we have our own "Folly forest". A folly is a building which has no specifc function. These buildings are funny or outstanding. There is used a lot of creativity and imagination.  

Every year we organise the Farm & Country Fair. This event, which looks like an English County Show, takes please every year in the weekend where the 4th saturday of June falls in. It takes place from Friday untill Sunday. Every year there are about 30.000 visitors. There are more than 350 exhibitors and it is very known for the outstanding atmosphere, high amount of animals, good quality of live music and nice shows.
